The research also indicated that regions which are likely to get a lot of revenue from the UAVs are California, Washington, Texas, Florida, Arizona, Connecticut and Kansas.
This ranking is based on the existing infrastructure and the activity of the air space. From the report, it is quite evident that states with a thriving airspace are likely to get the most economic gains. It also indicated that the number which will be created will also depend on other factors such as tax incentives, adoption of the UAS technology, regulations and state laws.
Drone industry is one of the emerging industries, though terrorism remains a major threat. A number of countries are investing on better security measures. China is one such country as it plans to use laser light to shoot down drones.
